My husband and I desperately wanted to help our son succeed, but like so many parents and educators, we felt overwhelmed trying to navigate endless programs, conflicting advice, and confusing reading resources.
That experience led me to create Simply Soar Reading: a speech-to-print, structured literacy system designed to make effective reading instruction clear, practical, and manageable for tutors, educators, and families.
For over 10 years, I’ve worked directly with struggling readers through my literacy tutoring centers, helping children grow from hesitant, frustrated readers into confident, capable learners. Simply Soar Reading was built and refined through that real-world experience and continues to be used daily to support students with dyslexia and other reading challenges.

Do I need any additional materials?
Pre-Soar and Bridge levels use a few inexpensive books you can purchase on Amazon or borrow from the library. Also, a whiteboard and dry-erase maker are great to have. All other materials are included.
